Exercises to Correct
Sway Back and Rounded Shoulders

Question: I have always been pretty fit and am not overweight. I have two children under age 3. Since their birth I have not been able to work out like I used to. I am now underweight and I have developed a sway back and rounded shoulders, probably from carrying my two little girls around. What exercises can I do to correct my posture? I believe my entire back needs to be strengthened. I already do a variety of abdominal exercises. Paula

Answer: Paula, For you, I would recommend two or three sessions per week of yoga. This will strengthen all of your supportive muscles in the correct posture. You will see your body change within just a few weeks.
